Swiss turning contract manufacturing
Slender, long, high-volume cylindrical parts are what a Swiss-type lathe is built for. At our shop in Ankara, Turkey we turn up to 40 mm diameter, measure on our own coordinate measuring machine and ship the part together with its report.
What we make
Pins and shafts
Slender geometries that must hold size along their whole length. The guide bushing supports the bar right at the cut, so the part does not deflect.
Bushings and fittings
Parts where inner and outer diameters must be held together. Turning, drilling and threading finish in one setup.
Fasteners
Special screws, studs and nuts in non-standard sizes, made to drawing.
Hydraulic and pneumatic parts
Parts where sealing surfaces and surface finish matter. Ra is measured in-house.
Swiss turning capacity
| Machine | Capacity | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Star SR-32R | Up to Ø 40 mm | Precision turning |
| Star SB-20R type G | Up to Ø 20 mm | High-volume work with bar feeder |
For work that needs milling, our DMG Mori DMU 70 and DMU 50 five-axis machining centres and the DMC 635 V three-axis vertical centre are under the same roof. If a feature cannot be finished on the Swiss lathe, the part is completed without leaving the building.
Materials we machine

Why customers stay with us
Inspection does not wait outside
A COORD3 ARES CMM, a vision measuring system and a surface roughness tester are in our own facility. First article inspection costs no days, and if a drift appears we can act before the batch is finished.
The part arrives with its paperwork
Dimensional inspection report, material certificate and certificate of conformity are delivered with the part.
We manage the outside processes
Heat treatment, anodising, plating and painting run through our approved suppliers. You deal with one company.
Same team from prototype to series
The team that makes the first sample also runs the series. Nothing is lost in a handover.
What to send for a quote
- The drawing. A PDF is enough; a 3D model (STEP preferred) gets you a faster quote.
- Quantity and lead time. One-off or a repeating batch? On a Swiss lathe, quantity drives the unit cost directly.
- Material and heat treatment. If the material is on the drawing there is no need to repeat it. Mention any plating or heat treatment.
- Special requirements. Say at quote stage if you need an inspection report, certificates, specific packaging or labelling.
Frequently asked questions
What diameters do you work in?
Up to Ø40 mm on the Swiss side. The Star SB-20R runs up to Ø20 mm with a bar feeder for high-volume work. Send the diameter and length of your part and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.
Do you make single parts?
Yes. A good share of our prototype and R&D work is single pieces or small batches. On a Swiss lathe the unit cost of a single piece is high; depending on the geometry another machine is sometimes the sensible choice, and we say so at quote stage.
Do you provide inspection reports?
Yes, on request. The dimensional report comes off our own CMM, and material certificates and a certificate of conformity can be supplied.
What is the lead time?
It depends on the geometry, on material availability and on whether an outside process is involved. We give a firm date once we have seen the drawing rather than quoting an estimate and extending it later.
Where are you?
Ostim OSB, 1151. Sokak No: 75, Yenimahalle / Ankara, Turkey. We work in a 650 m² facility with a team of 11. You are welcome to visit by appointment.
